4-7 years of experience working on power generators equipment, performing inspections, maintenance, and repairs
Strong Mechanical background with Diesel experience and advanced working experience with CUMMINS, VOLVO, ISUZU engines
Experience with calculating nominal and effective tonnage and/or kW requirements, along with reading and knowing schematics
Able to travel up to 80% of the time.
Ability to move or lift objects, typically less than 50 lbs.
Knowledge of Gas, compressed air, electrical, controls, oil free air compressors, HVAC

What you’ll do:
You’ll be based out of our Los Angeles, LA service center and can expect to work in the field with local travel daily in your company vehicle
You’ll have an opportunity to work overtime and weekends, and there is a potential for travel
Perform preventive maintenance and repairs of power generators, diesel engines, electrical distribution equipment
Troubleshoot equipment failures at the shop and on customer locations, and handle the repairs on various engines (CUMMINS, VOLVO, etc…
You will either be out on your own or teamed up with another technician(s) to set up and operate equipment at the shop and on customer sites

High School diploma/GED
Based on the customer requirements, you may be required to obtain and maintain a TWIC card or valid DOT medical card
Valid driver’s license
