Full-Time Onsite Position with Paid Relocation
Our client, an industry leader in Healthcare and Health Services, is seeking a dynamic professional for the role of Supply Chain Operations Director. This esteemed organization boasts numerous awards and serves clients across multiple locations. As the Supply Chain Operations Director, you will play a pivotal role in optimizing their supply chain processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the sourcing and selection of dependable suppliers, capital equipment, and rentals.
- Oversee all aspects of procurement functions and manage the central supply department efficiently.
- Develop and enforce procurement policies and procedures.
- Negotiate procurement contracts and supervise delivery scheduling and expediting.
- Collaborate with the hospital staff on group purchasing agreements, following efficient inventory management principles.
- Supervise supply receipt and acknowledgment while ensuring the storeroom operates seamlessly.
- Manage budgets for the Purchasing, Central Supply, Mail Room, and Transportation departments.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory agencies.
- Foster a culture of service excellence within the department.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited College or University in materials management, business, or a related field is required.
- A Master’s degree in a related field from an accredited College or University is preferred.
- A minimum of five (5) to seven (7) years of experience in materials management and procurement is required.
- A minimum of three (3) years of leadership experience in materials management and procurement is required. Acute care experience is advantageous.
