Senior Electrical Power and Energy Engineer

Key Responsibilities:
- Spearheading projects in engineering, design, procurement, and implementation of systems and equipment related to energy efficiency and electrical distribution.
- Innovating solutions for energy efficiency in alignment with our client’s stringent energy reduction metrics.
- Managing project budgets, ensuring adherence to engineering standards, and overseeing field construction activities.
- Providing leadership and technical direction for major capital projects impacting energy efficiency and the plant distribution network.
- Oversight of arc flash and short circuit studies in line with industry standards.
- Collaborating with the local power company on identifying energy efficiency projects and obtaining available rebates.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited institution.
- Minimum 5 years of engineering experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Minimum 3 years of project management experience, including scope development and technical design.
- Proficiency in interpreting power modeling software, including arc flash and short circuit studies.
- Technical expertise in switchgear, MCC’s, transfer switches, switch yards, generator sets, UPS, transformers, power control systems, and distribution systems.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
