Job Requirements:

  1. Possession of the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA); or eligibility for and active pursuit of completion of the Clinical Fellowship.
  2. Willingness to work with pediatric patients in an outpatient setting.
  3. Graduation from an ASHA-accredited Speech/Language Pathology curriculum or eligibility for graduation within the next 6 months.
  4. Current State Speech Language Pathologist license and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  5. Master’s Degree is a mandatory qualification.

Our client, a renowned organization, is seeking a Speech Therapist to assess the communication and swallowing needs of patients based on physician referral. Develop treatment goals and implement plans using diverse speech/language therapy procedures.

Demonstrate knowledge and skills relevant to the age of patients served, considering developmental status. Objectively assess baseline communication and swallowing function, including medical and onset history, articulation, voice, fluency, language, swallowing, and cognition. Identify needs, establish measurable treatment goals, and plan/implement dynamic treatment programs.

Provide assessments and/or screens for students within a rural school contract setting in response to referrals.

Work Conditions/Hours:

  • Standard hours: 8 a.m. – 5 p.m., Monday-Friday.
  • Opportunity for a 4/10 schedule with designated time for school documentation, meetings, and travel.
  • School setting working conditions with schedules aligned to the assigned school.
  • Summer and holiday time off, with the possibility of clinic/hospital hours based on availability and competency.

Minimum Requirements:

  • ASHA-accredited Speech/Language Pathology curriculum graduate or eligible for graduation within the next 6 months.
  • Master’s Degree.
  • Current State Speech Language Pathologist license.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA; or eligibility with active pursuit of completion.
  • Current BLS certification.
