Responsibilities:

  • Crafting differentiated lessons to meet individual student needs
  • Developing and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Providing tailored educational support to students with mild to severe disabilities
  • Monitoring student progress and preparing comprehensive reports
  • Collaborating closely with fellow educators and professionals
  • Facilitating productive team meetings
  • Engaging with parents to ensure effective communication and support
  • Adhering to Special Education regulations and best practices

Qualifications:

  • Valid MA DESE (Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education) license in Mild/Moderate or Moderate/Severe disabilities
  • Previous experience working with students across various grade levels
  • Familiarity with the MA Curriculum Frameworks
  • Proficiency in developing IEPs and monitoring student progress
