NOTE: This position is Hybrid, involving 3 days working in the office and 2 days from home.

Our Award-Winning Client is seeking exceptional bid managers to contribute to the growth of the company’s Business & Government market share. We need individuals with expertise in proposal management, presales, RFPs, and familiarity with RFP automation tools. Responsibilities:

  • Manage high-volume proposal requests, prioritizing the most strategic cases.
  • Utilize proposal automation tools to customize boilerplate content for personalized proposals.
  • Stay abreast of new proposal management best practices and explore competitive landscapes.
  • Continuously improve knowledge and use of technologies to enhance processes.
  • Collaborate with sales teams, providing coaching in persuasive writing and proposal standard methodologies.

Candidate Details:

  • 5+ to 7 years of experience
  • Seniority Level: Mid-Senior
  • Management Experience Required: No
  • Minimum Education: Bachelor’s Degree
  • Willingness to Travel: Never

Ideal Candidate:

  • 5-7 years of experience creating proposals in a high-volume environment, project managing each response, and prioritizing the most strategic cases.
  • Using proposal automation tools to pull in the right boilerplate content and then customizing it to meet customers’ needs and tell the right story.
  • Constant learning to stay abreast of new proposal management best practices, learning about new project and service offerings, and exploring competitive landscapes.
  • Improving knowledge and use of technologies and efficiencies to enhance processes.
  • Candidate location is preferably Greater Overland Park, Kansas area. Our secondary choice would be a candidate located in the greater Atlanta, Georgia area.
  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • PMP certification or experience with project management.
