Job Purpose and Impact

As the Lead Production Excellence Engineer, you will leverage your technical prowess to shape the evolution of production excellence processes across diverse sectors. This pivotal role focuses on enhancing operational performance and creating value in multiple manufacturing plants.

Key Responsibilities

  • Evaluate and devise recommendations for operational enhancements and recovery of lost production, implementing solutions to improve system efficiency, standard work, and processes.
  • Introduce technological solutions emphasizing safety, food quality, capacity, reliability, production excellence, continuous improvement, and environmental considerations.
  • Implement and refine production excellence processes and components across various locations.
  • Spearhead proactive maintenance and reliability initiatives, driving continuous improvement activities across diverse sites.
  • Align stakeholders across local and departmental levels, fostering collaboration between operations, environmental, and supply chain functions.
  • Assess organizational readiness and implement process improvement initiatives.
  • Supervise the execution of measurement processes, identifying variances and implementing corrective actions.
  • Independently handle complex challenges with minimal supervision, escalating only the most intricate issues as necessary.
  • Demonstrate availability and willingness to travel up to 25% of the time.

Position Information

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field OR equivalent experiential background.
  • A minimum of four years of relevant work experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Ability to articulate highly technical information across varying levels of technical knowledge.
  • Experience in technical gap assessment and identification of solutions.
  • Proven Project Management expertise.
  • Proficiency in devising intricate tests and analyses.
  • Certification in Lean Six Sigma.
