Position: Production Facility Analyst
Our client, a distinguished leader in the industry, seeks a dynamic Production Facility Analyst for their esteemed Finance and Accounting team. Renowned for their excellence, our client has garnered awards and recognition across various locations.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and maintain operational rate development, contributing to the financial success of our client’s Production Facility.
- Conduct in-depth cost planning and analysis to optimize financial performance.
- Execute month-end reporting and oversee inventory transactions, ensuring accurate accounting treatment.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for financial information needs at the facility.
- Provide leadership in driving month-end close, actively participating in process enhancement and project-oriented initiatives.
- Monitor and resolve variances in inventory batches throughout the manufacturing process.
- Play a pivotal role in the annual planning process for variable and fixed costs, as well as departmental expense budgets.
- Lead the annual physical inventory count as the site lead, supporting the cycle count program.
- Collaborate with the finance team to understand and address cost variances, working towards reducing overall costs.
- Generate monthly financial reporting and analytics for review with operations.
- Collaborate with operations to analyze, track, and report on initiatives for cost optimization.
- Calculate ROI and assess financial impacts for capital projects and major maintenance.
- Periodically evaluate labor and overhead rates.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
- Minimum of 3 years of accounting/cost experience in a manufacturing setting.
- Previous experience with inventory transactions.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Accounting experience for a multi-location, midsize to large organization.
- Background in process manufacturing with a solid understanding of inventory transactions.
- ERP experience in a manufacturing setting (experience with Oracle is advantageous).
- Familiarity with SQL.
- Previous experience in project management.
