What You Will Be Doing:

  • Engineering Design: Develop designs, specifications, and bill of materials for specialized systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
  • Project Management: Participate in project planning, budgeting, scheduling, and risk assessments.
  • Safety Assurance: Conduct feasibility studies, hazard analyses, and ensure safety through calculations and assessments.
  • Technical Documentation: Develop technical specifications, drawings, and documentation for system components and installations.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Collaborate with regulatory agencies and industry organizations to ensure adherence to standards.
  • Coordination: Liaise with internal departments and external vendors to resolve design issues and procure project equipment and materials.
  • Construction Oversight: Oversee construction, installation, testing, commissioning, and validation of systems.
  • Integration: Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate various system components.
  • Quality Assurance: Conduct performance tests to verify and validate system functionality.

Experience You Will Need:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering; Professional Engineer (PE) License or Master’s degree preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of 10 years in system design and construction or project engineering/management.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in engineering design software such as AutoCAD (2D required, 3D desired) and MS Office. Experience with software development and HMIs using PLC or LabView platform is desired.
  • Expertise: Working knowledge of system design & engineering, safety regulations, and industry standards. Familiarity with US FDA cGMP and ISO standards preferred.
