Job Purpose and Impact:
As the Senior General Production Supervisor for Vitamin E, you will play a crucial role in strategically overseeing operations at our client’s vitamin E production facility. In this role, you will ensure that the facility upholds high standards in safety, quality, operational efficiency, and financial performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise all operations, processes, or shifts to ensure adherence to policies and procedures related to employee, food, and feed safety, as well as environmental compliance.
- Collaborate with environmental, health, and safety, and food safety, quality, and regulatory experts to effectively implement and monitor corporate policies.
- Monitor production outcomes, quantity, and quality to ensure compliance with customer and food safety requirements.
- Collaborate with centers of excellence, including engineering and plant management, to provide input into plant capital investment strategies.
- Continuously review key performance indicators, focusing on enhancing site operational targets.
- Develop and oversee operational plans, monitoring routine operations for all production processes.
- Lead and cultivate a high-performing team, making decisions related to talent management, hiring, performance, and disciplinary actions.
- Undertake other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of four years of related work experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Two years of supervisory experience.
