Position: PACU/ASU Registered Nurse


  1. Associate degree from an accredited professional nursing school required.
  2. Certifications: ACLS required upon hire.
  3. Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) required upon hire.
  4. Arizona Registered Nurse and/or Compact State Registered Nurse required.


  1. ASPAN Certification preferred.
  2. Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  3. NIH stroke certification preferred.
  4. 3 years’ experience in PACU/ACU.

Position Summary:

The PACU/ASU Registered Nurse promotes and restores patients’ health by completing the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care for pre- and post-operative patients recovering from general, local, and regional anesthesia based on age-specific and cultural needs.
