Our award-winning client is seeking a skilled professional for a key position as a Regional Maintenance and Reliability Engineer. This role is pivotal in managing the upkeep and efficiency of our client’s physical assets, focusing initially on the Verona, MO plant.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
The successful candidate will be responsible for driving improvements in maintenance and reliability performance processes through the effective use of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). This role involves overseeing all site maintenance activities, ensuring compliance with PSM/OSHA 1910.119 and environmental regulations. Interaction with various stakeholders, including plant union employees, leadership teams, external support, and contractors, is a crucial aspect of this position.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Strategically own and enhance the Reliability and Maintenance programs.
- Oversee routine and turnaround maintenance projects.
- Ensure compliance with PSM/OSHA 1910.119 and environmental regulations.
- Collaborate with various stakeholders, including plant union employees, leadership teams, external support, and contractors.
- Develop and implement strategic objectives and budgets for the maintenance organization.
- Manage maintenance department costs within budget.
- Oversee the integrity and maintenance of all plant assets, including production equipment, facilities, utility equipment, and grounds.
- Collaborate with engineering or construction personnel for various projects.
- Implement a spare parts inventory program.
- Prepare activity reports, project proposals, and cost analyses.
- Review and optimize equipment maintenance strategies.
- Conduct root cause analysis for equipment failures and implement improvements.
- Analyze CMMS data to enhance equipment reliability and reduce maintenance costs.
- Provide input on capital projects for equipment reliability and maintainability.
- Offer technical expertise for PSM and mechanical integrity programs.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 5+ years of experience in Maintenance/Reliability/Engineering in a PSM regulated environment.
- Build strategic relationships with key stakeholders for improved collaboration and results.
- Experience with PSM systems and hazardous processes, CMMS, RCA, PM, and Maintenance Work Process.
- Proficient in using CMMS and ERP software.
