Job Description: Our client is hiring a Radiology Technologist to perform imaging examinations according to physicians’ orders, utilizing sophisticated imaging equipment. The role involves considering individual patients’ unique and age-related needs, applying clinical knowledge for optimal high-quality images, and ensuring minimal radiation exposure.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct imaging examinations based on physicians’ orders.
  • Utilize advanced imaging equipment with a focus on individual patient needs.
  • Apply clinical knowledge for proper positioning, radiation dose calibration, and patient treatment.
  • Ensure minimal radiation exposure to patients and operators, adhering to ALARA awareness.

Required Skills:

  • Education to meet certification, license, or registration requirements.
  • Oregon Radiographer License upon hire, Or
  • Oregon Radiographer Temporary License upon hire.
  • National Certification from American Registry of Radiologic Technologists within 6 months (180 days) of hire.
  • National Provider BLS – American Heart Association upon hire.
  • New graduates must have OBMI temporary license and obtain a permanent license within 6 months of hire.
