Full-Time Onsite Role with Paid Relocation

Position: Quality Engineer – Aerospace


  • Provide support for hydromechanical/electromechanical products throughout development, qualification, fabrication, assembly, and testing.
  • Manage the execution of new programs into production, ensuring compliance with customer requirements while meeting schedule and cost objectives.
  • Develop and implement product quality plans, PFMEA, and control plans.
  • Review and approve product drawings, ATPs, manufacturing process plans, and FAIRs.
  • Oversee the effective review, implementation, and flow down of Engineering Change Orders (ECOs) into manufacturing and the supply chain.
  • Support product proof-of-build (POB) activities and contribute to the evaluation and improvement of manufacturing processes.
  • Support internal non-conforming material control processes, including Material Review Board (MRB).
  • Lead structured problem-solving activities (e.g., 8D, 5 Why, Ishikawa) to resolve customer complaints, audit findings, or customer returns in a timely manner to prevent recurrence.
  • Support internal and customer system, process, and product audits.
  • Promote adherence to the Quality Management System (AS9100) and drive continuous process and product improvements.


Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree (B.S.) in Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, or Mechanical Engineering.
  • Minimum of 3 years of progressive quality experience in an aerospace manufacturing environment.
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office.
  • Familiarity with problem-solving techniques such as 8D, Fishbone, 5-why, PFMEA.
  • Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship.
  • U.S. Citizenship is required due to the use of sensitive military information or hardware.
  • No relocation benefit is offered for this position. Candidates residing in the US willing to relocate at their own expense will be considered.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T).
  • Experience with FRACAS and reliability reporting.
  • ASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CQE).
  • Knowledge of Six Sigma tools.
  • Candidates currently residing in Los Angeles or nearby commutable California locations.

Ideal Candidate: We are seeking a qualified QE or Sr. QE with experience in aerospace and/or applicable engineered manufactured designed products (e.g., automotive, consumer goods, transportation). The ideal candidate has previous experience working closely with Engineering, particularly in new product development (NPD), specifications, and handling customer rejections. Strong verbal/presentation communication skills are essential for interaction with high-profile aerospace/aviation OEM customers. An engineering degree is preferred.
