Full-Time Onsite Position with Paid Relocation

Our client, a leading company in the industry, is seeking a qualified professional to join their team. With numerous accolades, our client has a strong presence across various locations.

Responsibilities:

  • Address nonconforming materials generated in the manufacturing cell.
  • Implement corrective and preventive actions to reduce scrap, rework, and Defective Parts Per Million (DPPM).
  • Enhance the First Pass Yield (FPY) of manufactured products through process changes.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with the High-Performance Work Team (HPWT), product engineering, and customer quality to uphold business metrics.
  • Review engineering drawings and changes to ensure compliance with customer requirements and proper implementation into manufacturing work instructions.
  • Utilize problem-solving tools for internal or external customer corrective action requests, including comprehensive root cause analysis, implementation of permanent corrective actions, and validation of results.
  • Lead the Product Part Approval Process (PPAP) for existing and new products.
  • Conduct audits of the Certified Operator Program, Layered Process Audits (LPA), and internal audits to ensure adherence to quality requirements.
  • Provide quality training to new hires and cell transfers as part of the Certified Operator Program.
  • Support First Article Inspections (FAI’s) within the manufacturing cells.
  • Manage the Statistical Process Control (SPC) program for the cell to drive continuous improvement based on SPC data.

Skills and Certifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution and a minimum of one (1) year of quality experience
  • Proficiency in a metals machining environment
  • High school diploma with a minimum of three (3) years of quality experience in a metals machining environment
