Full-Time Onsite with Paid Relocation

Our Award-Winning Client, a nationally recognized commercial general contractor, is seeking a talented Superintendent to join their dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in upholding the company’s safety culture and ensuring the seamless execution of diverse construction projects, including ground-up commercial offices, healthcare facilities, educational institutions, religious buildings, and historical renovations.


  • Lead all aspects of safety culture while successfully executing assigned projects.
  • Provide comprehensive management of subcontractors, organizing the overall job and workflow.
  • Oversee company staff, subcontractors, suppliers, and programs such as Safety and Quality.
  • Develop work plans for subcontractors and any self-performed work.
  • Coordinate and manage the care, custody, and control of the project site.
  • Conduct various meetings, including daily stand-up and weekly trade meetings.
  • Attend, manage, and participate in appropriate progress and/or project meetings.
  • Create, manage, change, and implement the project’s schedule in conjunction with the Project Manager.
  • Track and monitor project budget and costs using the project management system’s cost reports and data from the project manager.
  • Communicate key project information to owners, design teams, governing authorities, subcontractors, suppliers, and other departments.
  • Follow the project filing and documentation organization system, updating drawings, logs, diaries, and inspection notebooks.
  • Approve and/or record unit cost information for weekly reports and complete daily reports, logs, and tracking reports.
  • Evaluate progress on self-perform work and make adjustments as needed.
  • Manage material and equipment needs for the project.
  • Manage the timecard approval process to ensure reporting of accurate hours and proper cost codes.
  • Ensure quality compliance through the use of specifications, setting quality standards, in-house QA/QC, and outside resources.
  • Support project closeouts by supervising pre-punch activities and coordinating with the owner, architect, and governing authorities.
  • Gain an understanding of the project pursuit process and methodology.
  • Participate with the field operations leadership and the project team to develop a project pre-plan; implement, monitor, and adjust as needed throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Partner with field leadership to establish field staffing for their assigned project.


  • Bachelor of Science in Construction or Engineering preferred; experience will be considered.
  • 5+ years of extensive experience in the management of commercial building projects $15M+, with ground-up building experience strongly preferred.
  • 4+ years of commercial construction field leadership.
