Description:

In this challenging role, you will be entrusted with handling complex projects involving electrohydraulic, electromechanical, hydromechanical, mechanical, and electropneumatic components and systems. These projects are pivotal for our client’s ongoing innovation.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Lead and manage cross-functional technical teams in the development of intricate test equipment systems, encompassing electrohydraulic and electromechanical elements.
  • Collaborate with customers and sales personnel to shape new product requirements.
  • Employ trade studies and analyses to validate conceptual problem solutions.
  • Play a key role in proposal design, cost estimates, and technical volume write-ups.
  • Thrive within a team of independent, creative individuals.
  • Uphold the high technical standards associated with our client’s reputation.
  • Develop dependable designs via a comprehensive experimental testing program.
  • Document and report on designs, analyses, and test results.

Qualifications:

Requirements:

  • A minimum of an MS Degree, preferably in Mechanical, Aeronautical, or Electrical Engineering, with a minimum of three years of design and development engineering experience. Alternatively, a BS Degree with six years of design/development engineering experience, or a PhD.
  • Proficiency in closed‑loop control systems and mechanical hardware designs.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience as a Control Account Manager (CAM).
  • Familiarity with Earned Value Management System (EVMS).
  • Knowledge of Risk and Opportunity management or analogous business processes.
  • Competence in developing Integrated Master plans (IMPs) and Integrated Master Schedules (IMS).
  • Strong analytical skills and a self-starting mindset.
  • Exceptional communication skills.
