Job Description:

We have an exciting opportunity for a Project Engineer with expertise in water and wastewater engineering. The successful candidate will play a key role in managing field staff, reviewing engineering designs, and collaborating with the Operations Manager to ensure safety and permit compliance. Engage with contract laboratories, communicate with clients and regulators, and actively participate in project assignments.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and coordinate field staff across different office locations.
  • Conduct comprehensive reviews of engineering designs, bid packages, RFPs, and Statements of Work in a program management capacity.
  • Collaborate with the Operations Manager to guarantee safety and compliance with permits.
  • Interface with contract laboratories to address QA/QC issues and ensure reporting limits are met.
  • Communicate with clients and regulatory bodies regarding technical aspects of operations.
  • Participate in project assignments, occasionally taking a lead role in specific areas of expertise.
  • Provide peer mentorship to design and consulting staff.
  • Assist Senior Project Managers with project management responsibilities.
  • Contribute to the development of qualification packages and proposals.
  • Deliver project outcomes through client presentations.
  • Support marketing campaigns led by company owners and the business development director.

Qualifications:

  • B.S. degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering is required.
  • 4-8 years of experience in water and wastewater engineering consulting, covering studies, design, and construction services.
  • Professional Engineering (PE) licensure is preferred.
