This position will define a product portfolio that meets our customer’s needs, contribute to Energy Transition Strategy, and drive the organization to maximize value to Electric Power customers. Responsibilities for the position will be focused on Support of Sales Execution and Support of NPI Development.

 

Support Sales Execution: Provide product and application expertise to the global field sales rep teams and dealers to support price realization and improved value proposition.

·        Incumbent is the subject matter expert in terms of product application knowledge

·        Responsible for developing and delivering product and application training to field reps, dealers & customers.

·        Supports equipment sizing and application recommendations based on customer requirements.

·        Provide reports on competitive performance studies and feature/benefit comparisons.

·        Develop, support, and train field reps and dealers in using sizing tools and other equipment analysis software.

Support NPI Development: Provides input to Product Groups and New Product Introduction (NPI) teams for next-generation NPI product development activities.

·        Collection and communication of Voice of Customer Input and development of Critical Customer Requirements

·        Support definition and value placed on new product features, functional and technical specifications, and general product requirements.

·        Responsibilities are generally global in nature and would include work in developing product requirements for emerging markets.

·        Support ongoing Value Analysis work related to competitive performance and features.

·        Provide Product Group with industry-specific trends based on customers’ operational data and benchmarking.

Basic Qualifications:

·         A college or university Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.

·        6 to 8 years prior experience in the Energy Storage Market

·        Incumbent will have demonstrated the ability to work on a larger scale, more complex assignments and provide direction to lower-level reps on project assignments.

·        Ability to communicate effectively and to influence others in the workgroup, dealer personnel, and customers.

 

Top Candidates Will Also Have:

·        Expert knowledge of Energy Storage Systems, product applications, and the full customer value stream in the assigned industry.

 

Preferred locations are Mossville, IL. Alpharetta, GA; Griffin, GA, Lafayette, IN, Dallas, TX, Houston, TX; and Tucson, AZ. Other locations may be considered with the continental US.
