Full-Time Onsite Position with Paid Relocation

Our client, a renowned industry leader with numerous accolades, is currently seeking a talented individual to join their team in a Procurement Manager role. As an award-winning organization, our client is committed to integrity, diversity, and excellence in their operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead negotiations with suppliers to achieve cost savings, manage competitive bids for capital and commodity projects, and drive productivity improvements.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to address and resolve supply and service issues, supporting manufacturing operations effectively.
  • Optimize requisition-to-payment processes, qualify alternative suppliers, and manage supply risks in coordination with various departments.
  • Attain site-specific Procurement targets related to spending, vendor pay terms, and supplier performance.
  • Develop and maintain positive business relationships with key suppliers, executing effective sourcing strategies for optimal company value.
  • Lead non-commercial events, such as Kaizen workshops and Working Capital/Inventory Workshops, to meet organizational objectives.
  • Interface with Procurement Operations Managers at other locations to enhance understanding of purchasing processes and critical material sourcing.
  • Collaborate proactively with Category Managers to implement key strategic initiatives across all spend categories.
  • Fulfill auditing and compliance requirements related to Procurement processes.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited institution (Engineering, Finance, Business, or Supply Chain preferred).
  • 5-10 years of previous work experience in purchasing and/or supply chain management.
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States (Verification of employment eligibility required at the time of hire; Visa sponsorship not available).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Professional Certification – Certified Purchasing Manager (CPIM, CPM, or CSCP) is preferred.
  • JD Edwards or Oracle Experience.
  • Demonstrated flexibility across multiple categories and suppliers.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • Project Management expertise with the ability to manage resources and timelines.
  • Strong financial and business acumen.
  • Innovative and strategic thinker.
  • Technical proficiency required, with the ability to read prints and understand complex manufacturing processes.

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 5+ to 7 years of experience
