Responsibilities and Requirements:

Process Engineer Technician I:

In this role, you will:

  • Prioritize safety and health as the utmost priority.
  • Monitor and adjust cycle times, ensuring process accuracy.
  • Be proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
  • Modify processes for product orders.
  • Collaborate with operators to enhance process efficiency.
  • Conduct mechanical tasks such as process monitoring, sampling, and testing.
  • Provide technical support for troubleshooting.
  • Ensure equipment and processes meet production standards.
  • Monitor operations process, work, and material flow for quality assurance.
  • Assist in preventive maintenance projects.
  • Perform backup duties during breaks.
  • Conduct test and trial runs as needed.
  • Assist in mold changes and repairs.
  • Maintain a clean work area.
  • Train Production Supervisors and other Process Technicians.
  • Perform duties with a focus on quality and safety.

Process Engineer Technician II:

Building on the responsibilities of Process Engineer Technician I, the II will:

  • Repair and replace electrical and/or pneumatic instrumentation and control systems.
  • Maintain and improve existing manufacturing practices.
  • Create and manipulate databases and charts.
  • Understand and develop projects to improve PPK’s throughout the plant.
  • Be proficient in quality equipment calibration.
  • Have knowledge of Thermoforming and Extrusion processes.
  • Create, develop, and maintain recipes for Thermoforming and Extrusion.
  • Detect deficiencies and implement process-countermeasures.
  • Be proficient in Infinity database, Agile, Vorne, OEE studio.

Process Engineer Technician III:

At the highest level, the III will:

  • Lead an SPS team.
  • Develop blue belt projects.
  • Be proficient with 3D design software (AutoCAD, SOLIDWORKS, INVENTOR).
  • Manage projects, including upgrading equipment and handling contractors.
  • Create and run CAA capital projects.
  • Propose and implement continuous improvement projects.
  • Communicate professionally with internal and external customers.
  • Implement visual controls and standard work in the department.
  • Work with the plant and management to improve safety initiatives.
