Position: Full-Time Onsite with Paid Relocation

As a key contributor to our client’s cutting-edge projects, you will be responsible for the setup and maintenance of diverse systems, ensuring the smooth operation of production equipment. Your role involves collaborating with Engineering to supervise processes, reduce waste, and improve overall output. Reporting directly to Production Maintenance (Engineering) and indirectly to Production, your diverse responsibilities include:

  • Conducting maintenance on all electrical systems for production equipment.
  • Performing preventive maintenance on designated production equipment, following the PM Program or as needed for seamless operations.
  • Assisting in the installation, debugging, and start-up of equipment, including maintaining and adjusting vision systems within defined parameters.
  • Documenting downtime and maintenance problems in equipment logs, adhering to control change procedures for process changes.
  • (For Sharps Departments Only) Formulating silicone/solvent-based lubrication for needles, ensuring compliance with specified parameters using a viscometer.
  • Ensuring adherence to safety, environmental procedures, and Quality System Requirements (QSR).
  • Providing relevant information on equipment and process performance to Production Supervisors.
  • Offering leadership in problem-solving for production equipment issues.
  • Coordinating and supporting other maintenance activities as required.

Required Qualifications:

  • High School diploma / GED.
  • Associate Degree (Mechatronics or a similar subject area) preferred.
  • Ability to work 8 pm-8 am on a 3, 2, 2, 3 schedule.
  • Extensive knowledge of PLCs and electrical-mechanical maintenance, including troubleshooting, programming PLCs, and reading ladder logic.
  • Electrical-Mechanical troubleshooting experience.
  • Experience in a high-speed automated manufacturing environment preferred.
