JOB DESCRIPTION: Our award-winning client, a prominent player in the healthcare sector, is currently looking for a skilled professional to assume a pivotal role as a Manager in the Emergency Room.


  • Take on a 24-hour accountability role for resource coordination to ensure exceptional service delivery, aligned with our client’s mission, vision, and philosophy.
  • Oversee the Emergency Room and its dedicated staff, including the assistant nurse manager, charge nurses, RNs, LPNs, techs, and administrative personnel.
  • Provide support to the assistant nurse manager in staff oversight, evaluations, disciplinary actions, scheduling, and related responsibilities.
  • Thrive in a fast-paced ER environment, addressing challenges in staffing, patient acuity, and other operational aspects.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of the department’s quality scores and ratings.

UNIT SUMMARY: Our client’s Emergency Department, serving a significant number of patients annually, is equipped to handle major and minor illnesses, particularly cardiac, stroke, and behavioral health cases. The department also addresses orthopedic injuries and minor traumas. The rapid care area focuses on minor illnesses, and the dedicated staff is known for their positive attitude and strong organizational skills.


  • Graduate of an accredited CCNE School of Nursing; Bachelor’s of Nursing (BSN) degree required; master’s preferred.
  • 5-7 years of experience.
  • State Registered Nurse License (RN).
  • American Heart Association CPR Certification (BLS) cert.
  • Credentialed in the area of expertise preferred (CEN preferred).

IDEAL CANDIDATE: The ideal candidate should have prior leadership experience in Emergency Room nursing, such as a manager, director, or assistant nurse manager.
