Job Description:

Our client, a leader in the healthcare industry, is seeking an experienced MRI Technologist to contribute to their award-winning team. As a key member, you will be responsible for performing MRI procedures on patients, ensuring technical quality, and maintaining excellent patient flow. Minimum Qualifications:

  • Education: Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology.
  • Licenses/Certifications: BLS Certification (Basic or Advanced Life Support), Registered MRI Technologist by ARRT-MR.

Required Skills:

  • Excellent technical skills in performing MRI procedures.
  • Ability to act as a resource and mentor to colleagues.
  • Proficient in reviewing incomplete exam lists and unsigned report statuses.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.

Nice-To-Have Skills:

  • At least 1 year of experience preferred.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare patients for MRI exams, explain procedures, and administer contrast when necessary.
  • Position patients for the MRI scanner, select appropriate imaging techniques, and ensure technical quality.
  • Act as a liaison between physicians, technologists, and department support staff.
  • Review incomplete exam lists and unsigned report statuses routinely.
  • Enter and monitor patient data and health history as it pertains to the exam being performed.
  • Perform quality assurance on MRI equipment and recommend modifications.
  • Identify and help resolve equipment malfunctions.
  • Complete initial and renewal applications for accreditation.
