JOB PURPOSE:

JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Collaborate with various departments, including customer groups, Facilities/Maintenance, Manufacturing Operations, Engineering, EHS (Environmental Health & Safety), Accounting, and Purchasing to facilitate the approval process.
- Adhere to the NCI (New Capital Introduction) Process Flow/Gate Reviews.
- Deliver desired results for multiple concurrent individual and team projects.
- Develop comprehensive plans for facility projects, prioritize them for cost-effectiveness, and manage budgeting and procurement aspects.
- Work closely with internal and external suppliers to plan and execute facility-wide projects, ensuring efficient and cost-effective systems and processes for producing high-quality products.
- Coordinate the compatibility of existing and new assets and systems.
- Provide direction and guidance to other project owners to ensure optimal efficiency and sustainability within the facility.
- Assess the implementation of modern technology and its effectiveness in modifying facility processes.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a technical discipline with at least 4 years of relevant experience OR a 2-year Engineering/Manufacturing Technology degree with at least 6 years of experience OR at least 8 years of relevant experience in a technical discipline.
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience in managing capital projects.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities, both direct and indirect.
- Foundry process experience related to molding, core making, melting/holding furnaces, iron pouring, or casting cleaning.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Manufacturing experience related to the production of cast materials, induction hardening processes, and expertise in process control documentation.
- Strong knowledge of engineering and manufacturing standards and practices.
