Our client, a renowned leader in the industry, is currently seeking a skilled Manufacturing Engineer to contribute to their dynamic team. This is a full-time onsite position with relocation assistance provided.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate closely with the manufacturing department to devise, coordinate, and implement comprehensive technical training programs for employees.
  • Provide valuable engineering support within production departments, addressing and resolving technical challenges.
  • Conduct ongoing analysis of manufacturing process flows, focusing on improving quality, reducing costs, and optimizing throughput.
  • Perform time studies to capture current operation process cycle times accurately.
  • Spearhead the introduction of cutting-edge technology and plant enhancements for fabrication processes, aiming to elevate product quality and implement error-proof manufacturing practices.
  • Assist Product Development in the setup of new production fabrication lines, encompassing cut-to-length, miter, CNC, bending, stamping, punching, clinching, welding, and assembly.
  • Develop and document clear work instructions for use by plant personnel during fabrication processes.
  • Create and maintain detailed plant equipment drawings using AutoCAD and SolidWorks.
  • Engage with suppliers to determine product specifications, coordinate equipment, parts, or material purchases, and evaluate products according to stringent quality standards.
  • Design and refine manufacturing processes to accommodate enhancements, product changes, and overall production improvements.

Preferred Skills/Qualifications:

  • A minimum of three (3) years of experience in new product and/or manufacturing engineering.
  • At least two (2) years of experience with cutting-edge technologies such as Fronius or ABB.
  • A minimum of one (1) year of prior experience in the fabrication of metal components, including extruding, machining, bending, stamping, punching, clinching, welding, and assembly.
  • Proficiency in CNC Programming within a manufacturing environment.
  • Familiarity with continuous improvement projects, lean manufacturing, and Six Sigma methodologies.
  • Solid experience with 3D modeling software, such as SolidWorks or equivalent CAD tools.
