Responsibilities & Duties

  • Daily Planning and Coordination:
    • Efficiently plan, communicate, and coordinate daily tasks with department associates.
    • Supervise the daily setup of machinery and equipment to optimize production efficiency.
  • Quality Assurance and Safety:
    • Monitor packaging line efficiency and ensure adherence to established safety protocols.
    • Uphold compliance with programs, policies, and practices for producing high-quality foods.
  • Maintenance Programs Management:
    • Develop and audit Preventative Maintenance (PM) programs for continuous improvement.
    • Provide supervision and coaching to direct reports, conducting performance evaluations and offering constructive feedback.
  • Technical Skills Management:
    • Oversee electrical, electronics, controls programming, mechanical systems, stockroom, building and grounds, and utilities systems.
    • Deliver effective maintenance training and support for facility and equipment operations.
  • Diagnostic Support:
    • Assist team members in diagnosing malfunctions in machinery and equipment.
  • Continuous Improvement:
    • Ensure the timely implementation of repairs/modifications resulting from assessments, audits, and notifications, maintaining high-quality workmanship.
  • Team Collaboration:
    • Foster employee relations through clear communication and periodic meetings.
    • Collaborate closely with the Maintenance Director, Production, Quality Team Members, and Human Resources.
  • Inspections and Compliance:
    • Conduct regular plant inspections to identify potential issues and gather operator feedback.
    • Assure compliance with government regulatory agencies.


  • Proven experience in maintenance supervision within a manufacturing or food processing environment.
  • Strong technical skills in electrical, electronics, controls programming, and mechanical systems.
  • Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
  • Familiarity with safety protocols, regulatory compliance, and quality standards.
