Position: Maintenance Planner

Location: Carrolton, GA – Full-time Onsite with Paid Relocation

Responsibilities:

  • Develop comprehensive job plans identifying safety hazards, permitting requirements, and necessary PPE.
  • Create detailed job plans, specifying critical tasks, required craft resources, contractor needs, and material requirements.
  • Establish and manage a backlog of ‘ready-to-be-scheduled’ tasks, supporting efficient weekly maintenance scheduling.
  • Prioritize job development based on asset criticality and customer priorities.
  • Support maintenance planning strategies to enhance efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and flexibility in the workforce.
  • Assist in contractor coordination and manage service entries for completed services.
  • Perform requisitioning as part of the planning activity.
  • Contribute to the development of preventive maintenance plans for all applicable plant assets.
  • Manage corrective and preventive job plans/task lists to ensure readiness for scheduled and unscheduled work opportunities.
  • Serve as a local master data manager within the plant SAP PM environment.
  • Create bills of materials (BOMs) for plant assets.
  • Act as a SAP PM subject matter expert for the plant.

Major Duties:

  4. Prioritize job development based on asset criticality and customer priorities (10%).
  5. Support maintenance planning strategies (15%).
  6. Assist in contractor coordination and manage service entries for completed services (5%).
  7. Perform requisitioning as part of the planning activity (< 5%).
  8. Contribute to the development of preventive maintenance plans for all applicable plant assets (5%).
  9. Manage corrective and preventive job plans/task lists to ensure readiness for scheduled and unscheduled work opportunities (5%).
  10. Serve as a local master data manager within the plant SAP PM environment (< 5%).
  11. Create bills of materials (BOMs) for plant assets (< 5%).
  12. Act as a SAP PM subject matter expert for the plant (< 2%).

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a craftsman with an understanding of the work management process.
  • Proficient computer skills related to planning and scheduling of work.
  • Ability to estimate labor, materials, tools, and equipment for maintenance work.
  • Strong prioritization skills based on customer needs.
  • Prior experience working within the SAP PM environment is highly desirable.
