Position: IRB Manager – Healthcare Sector

Location: Onsite Full-Time (Paid Relocation Available)

Overview:

Are you ready to take on a pivotal role in the dynamic field of human subject protections within the healthcare sector? Our client, a prominent player in the industry, is looking for an enthusiastic IRB Manager to ensure compliance with regulatory policies.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough pre-reviews of submissions for IRB consideration to guarantee adherence to institutional, federal, and state policies.
  • Collaborate closely with the Director of Human Subject Protections, IRB Coordinator I, and board members to streamline the review process.
  • Facilitate effective communication with research investigators and their teams to ensure a seamless protocol submission, review, and approval process.

Qualifications:

Educational Background:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of relevant education and experience.

Professional Experience:

  • Preferably experienced in IRB management.
  • Exposure to Post Approval Monitoring.
  • Wide-ranging expertise in research administration.

Certification and Licensing:

  • CIP certification required (to be obtained within 1 year of hire).

Required Skills:

  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal aptitude.
  • Proficient in general clerical duties with excellent multitasking skills.
  • Familiarity with medical terminology.
  • Strong computer skills, including effective use and navigation.
  • Stellar customer service, detail-oriented, with excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Outstanding organizational skills coupled with sound reasoning abilities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
