Position: IRB Manager – Healthcare Sector
Location: Onsite Full-Time (Paid Relocation Available)
Overview:
Are you ready to take on a pivotal role in the dynamic field of human subject protections within the healthcare sector? Our client, a prominent player in the industry, is looking for an enthusiastic IRB Manager to ensure compliance with regulatory policies.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough pre-reviews of submissions for IRB consideration to guarantee adherence to institutional, federal, and state policies.
- Collaborate closely with the Director of Human Subject Protections, IRB Coordinator I, and board members to streamline the review process.
- Facilitate effective communication with research investigators and their teams to ensure a seamless protocol submission, review, and approval process.
Qualifications:
Educational Background:
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of relevant education and experience.
Professional Experience:
- Preferably experienced in IRB management.
- Exposure to Post Approval Monitoring.
- Wide-ranging expertise in research administration.
Certification and Licensing:
- CIP certification required (to be obtained within 1 year of hire).
Required Skills:
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal aptitude.
- Proficient in general clerical duties with excellent multitasking skills.
- Familiarity with medical terminology.
- Strong computer skills, including effective use and navigation.
- Stellar customer service, detail-oriented, with excellent problem-solving skills.
- Outstanding organizational skills coupled with sound reasoning abilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
