JPS-519 Civil Engineer – Drainage

Full-Time Onsite Position with Paid Relocation Available

Our Award Winning Client, recognized nationally for its excellence in civil engineering consulting, is seeking a talented Professional Engineer with hydrologic and hydraulic expertise to join their team. This role involves preparing drainage reports, calculations, and construction drawings within the Roadway Division. The successful candidate will work on a variety of projects including roadway infrastructure, flood control measures, commercial developments, and mixed-use land projects.

Key Technical Skills Required:

  • Civil Engineering Consulting Firm experience
  • Texas PE license
  • Proficiency in HEC-RAS, HEC-RAS 2D, HEC-HMS, HY-8, HouStorm, EPA SWMM, XP SWMM, ArcGIS, QGIS, GEOPAK/OpenRoads, MicroStation 2D & 3D, AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Flowmaster, Culvert-Master, FEMA reporting, and detention pond design.


  • Develop detailed plan sets and construction documents, accompanied by thorough drainage reports.
  • Design various development projects including utilities, site layout, drainage systems, road design, and grading design.
  • Oversee daily operations, ensuring deliverables are met according to project timelines.
  • Collaborate with clients and consultants to understand project requirements and propose effective design solutions.
  • Manage project scopes, budgets, and schedules while enforcing QA/QC procedures.
  • Engage in business development activities to support company growth initiatives.
  • Coordinate with external consultants for specialized design efforts.
  • Independently manage projects and work effectively within a multidisciplinary team environment.
