Job Description: In this role, you will be responsible for managing and optimizing inventory levels, ensuring a seamless flow of goods from suppliers to customers. Collaborate with different departments to achieve operational objectives while maintaining accurate records and implementing effective inventory control procedures.
- Oversee various aspects of Inventory Control, Reporting & Analysis, and Risk Management.
- Ensure the precision of scaffold and hoist asset tracking systems.
- Process load list requests efficiently, converting them into shipments within the inventory system.
- Manage material returns on job sites, reconciling any discrepancies.
- Execute interbranch equipment transfers, both incoming and outgoing.
- Assist in procuring fixed assets and consumable inventory.
- Issue vendor purchase orders as required.
- Control and document scrap transactions.
- Conduct monthly cycle counts to uphold yard accuracy.
- Run and disseminate inventory balance reports.
- Investigate and resolve any discrepancies.
- Collaborate with the operations team to validate material accuracy on job sites.
- Conduct an annual physical inventory count.
- Effectively manage and minimize re-rent items.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain management, or a related field.
- Proven experience in inventory management.
- Strong analytical and problems solving skills.
- Proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Office.
- Preferred experience in the construction industry.
- Self-driven with a passion for working in a fast-paced environment.
