Summary:
In this dynamic role, the successful candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring the safety and efficiency of production processes. Emphasizing a commitment to quality, the Process Engineer will utilize their experience in mold installation and key processing parameters.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
- Prioritize workplace safety and provide data for a secure working environment
- Participate in safety evaluations of secondary equipment
- Assist in inspecting, installing, and setting up new molds
- Troubleshoot tooling, processes, and machines systematically
- Collaborate with Engineering for the development of new processes
- Enhance process efficiencies in collaboration with Shift Process Technicians
- Maintain accurate documentation and facilitate effective data communication
Requirements/Experience:
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on practical experience preferred
- Technical degree preferred (minimum 2 years)
- Successful completion of Work Keys Mathematics and Technical aptitude testing
- Proficiency in IQMS system and basic PC literacy

Job Duties:
- Process raw materials for production, ensuring adherence to quality standards
- Set up and operate production equipment, conducting functionality tests
- Make necessary adjustments or repairs as required
- Perform routine maintenance or cleanup after each production run
- Maintain meticulous records and documentation
Experience and Education:
- Work under direct supervision, addressing basic issues
- Possess a working knowledge of the subject matter
- Typically requires accreditation from a technical school or skilled trades program and 0 to 2 years of experience
Reports to: Typically reports to a department head or manager
