Summary:

In this dynamic role, the successful candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring the safety and efficiency of production processes. Emphasizing a commitment to quality, the Process Engineer will utilize their experience in mold installation and key processing parameters.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

  • Prioritize workplace safety and provide data for a secure working environment
  • Participate in safety evaluations of secondary equipment
  • Assist in inspecting, installing, and setting up new molds
  • Troubleshoot tooling, processes, and machines systematically
  • Collaborate with Engineering for the development of new processes
  • Enhance process efficiencies in collaboration with Shift Process Technicians
  • Maintain accurate documentation and facilitate effective data communication

Requirements/Experience:

  • Minimum 5 years of hands-on practical experience preferred
  • Technical degree preferred (minimum 2 years)
  • Successful completion of Work Keys Mathematics and Technical aptitude testing
  • Proficiency in IQMS system and basic PC literacy

Additional Job Description:

Job Summary: Contribute to the preparation of systems, equipment, materials, and components for use in the production process.

Job Duties:

  • Process raw materials for production, ensuring adherence to quality standards
  • Set up and operate production equipment, conducting functionality tests
  • Make necessary adjustments or repairs as required
  • Perform routine maintenance or cleanup after each production run
  • Maintain meticulous records and documentation

Experience and Education:

  • Work under direct supervision, addressing basic issues
  • Possess a working knowledge of the subject matter
  • Typically requires accreditation from a technical school or skilled trades program and 0 to 2 years of experience

Reports to: Typically reports to a department head or manager
