Our Award Winning Client is actively seeking a skilled HVAC (Shop) Technician II to join their dynamic team. This is a full-time, onsite position with paid relocation opportunities for the right candidate.

Responsibilities: As an HVAC (Shop) Technician II based in our undisclosed service center, you will have the opportunity to:
- Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on power generators, diesel engines, electrical distribution equipment, HVAC equipment, and/or oil-free air compressors.
- Troubleshoot equipment failures at the shop and handle necessary repairs promptly.
- Set up, operate, and troubleshoot equipment failures at the shop.
- Change oil and fuel filters, ensuring proper disposal of old filters.
- Off-load equipment from trucks using overhead cranes upon termination of rentals.
Skills and Experience: We’re looking for individuals with the following expertise:
- High School diploma/GED or equivalent work history.
- 4-7 years of experience working on power generators and/or commercial HVAC equipment, performing inspections, maintenance, and repairs.
- Proficiency in calculating nominal and effective tonnage and/or kW requirements, along with the ability to read and understand schematics.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a TWIC card or valid DOT medical card based on customer requirements.
- Capability to lift or move objects, typically weighing less than 50 lbs.
- Valid driver’s license.
- EPA Universal Certification.
- Are you able to lift items weighing over 50 pounds?
- Are you available for overtime, evening work, weekends, and travel, as needed?
- What specific HVAC equipment have you repaired?
- Do you hold a valid EPA Universal certificate?
- Skills Assessment (~1 hour).
- Technical Interview (virtual).
- Service Center Manager (onsite).
