Job Role Details:
Our client is seeking an Electrical Engineering Lead to play a pivotal role in overseeing and implementing standards, applications, solutions, and performance metrics to enhance production quality, efficiency, and volume within their Food & Beverages business segment. In this key position, you will lead a team responsible for executing electrical engineering activities, supporting strategic growth projects, and enhancing capabilities through effective engineering leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement accident prevention measures.
- Coordinate comprehensive training programs for personnel covering all aspects of the production process.
- Identify and address bottlenecks in equipment and process flows.
- Establish and measure plant and equipment capacity output metrics.
- Ensure strict adherence to industry safety and design standards and guidelines.
- Lead, mentor, and make decisions related to talent management, recruitment, performance evaluation, and disciplinary actions.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or equivalent practical experience.
- Minimum of four years of relevant work experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Demonstrated expertise in technical standards, principles, theories, concepts, and techniques.
- Proficiency in predictive technologies such as MCA, vibration analysis, infrared thermography, ultrasound, and machinery lubrication.
- Experience with electrical power equipment testing (NETA certification).
- Basic understanding of National Electric Code (NEC), IEC standards, and ISA standards.
- Familiarity with Corn Milling, Oil and Gas, or Petrochemical equipment and processes.
- Electrical Power Professional Engineer (PE) certification or Engineer-in-Training (EIT) actively pursuing a Professional Engineer license.
