About the Role:
We are working with a prestigious client known for its award-winning work in the Packaging and Container Manufacturing industry. Our client has a strong presence globally and is seeking a skilled Reliability Engineer with expertise in Electrical Systems.
Responsibilities:
In this role as a Reliability Engineer specializing in Electrical Systems, you will be entrusted with the following responsibilities:
Champion a culture of continuous improvement through the promotion of best practices, Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA), and thorough analysis of root causes for failures.
Lead sessions to swiftly and comprehensively identify and resolve latent causes of equipment failures.
Develop and execute strategies to ensure the reliability of electrical equipment and systems.
Promote the use of reliable methods and adhere to quality assurance/quality control (QA/QC) practices.
Offer technical guidance and advice to address complex issues in manufacturing and reliability processes.
Support the planning of major maintenance and capital projects over a five-year horizon.
Manage small-scale improvement projects to enhance operational efficiency.
Oversee Predictive Maintenance (PdM), Preventive Maintenance (PM), precision practices/training, and the preservation of facility assets.
Provide recommendations and action plans based on findings from Predictive Maintenance (PdM).
Evaluate repair methodologies, conduct audits, and make informed decisions regarding repair or replacement.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:
A degree in an engineering discipline or equivalent experience in maintenance, engineering, or reliability.
A minimum of five years of experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
The ability to lead and manage multiple projects of varying complexity.
A willingness to occasionally work extended hours and weekends as required.
