Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the seamless operation of the facility.
  • Conduct regular assessments and inspections of systems, machinery, and equipment to identify potential maintenance needs or areas for improvement.
  • Apply analytical skills to troubleshoot failures, identify root causes, and implement effective corrective measures.
  • Coordinate with maintenance teams to meticulously plan and execute maintenance, repair, and upgrade projects, ensuring minimal disruption to production schedules.
  • Develop and implement preventive maintenance strategies for systems and components to enhance equipment reliability and extend operational lifetimes.
  • Analyze performance data to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for efficiency improvements and energy savings.
  • Actively participate in the design and implementation of new systems, installations, and modifications, ensuring alignment with safety standards.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of maintenance activities, modifications, and repairs for regulatory compliance and informed decision-making.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and advancements to propose innovative solutions and drive continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with diverse teams to effectively communicate technical information, provide expertise, and contribute to a collaborative work environment.

Education, Experience, and Skills:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • Proficiency in SAP, SCADA, PLC/Logic programming; experience with Siemens and Rockwell preferred.
  • Rod Mill operations and compounding experience.
