Full-Time Onsite Position with Paid Relocation

Our client, a leader in the Manufacturing & Production industry, is currently seeking an experienced EHS Manager to join their dynamic team in Springdale, Arkansas. With numerous accolades, our client has a strong presence nationwide.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and direct daily EHS functions at the Springdale location.
  • Report to the Plant Manager and be accountable for ensuring that Environmental, Health, and Safety activities effectively reduce risk and align with external regulatory requirements and internal management guidelines.
  • Develop, implement, and document EHS programs in compliance with Local, State, and Federal EPA and OSHA requirements, as well as company and site policies.
  • Manage the preparation, submission, and documentation of all EPA and OSHA Reporting Requirements, including but not limited to OSHA 300 Log, SARA 311, 312, and 313 Annual Reports, MS Hazardous Waste Generators Annual Report, and MS Air Emissions Annual Inventory Report.
  • Timely submission and completion of all incident reports within designated deadlines and reporting process guidelines.
  • Prepare and submit required monthly and quarterly performance index reports and metrics.
  • Develop, conduct, oversee, and supervise EHS Training, encompassing external regulatory and internal management programs.
  • Approve and procure EHS resources, including Waste Characterization and Disposal, PPE, I/H, Noise Testing, Training Resources, and other Environmental, Health, and Safety vendors as needed.
  • Acquire and maintain accredited training in areas related to EHS for training, report submittal, and general awareness.
  • Act as a liaison for the company with regulatory agencies and external vendors in the field of Environment, Health, and Safety.
  • Ensure understanding, implementation, and enforcement of environmental permit conditions.
  • Ensure supervisors and department employees attend all required training sessions.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Safety or Environmental Engineering or a relevant field.
  • Five years of professional experience in Environmental Health and Safety within a manufacturing environment.
  • Preferred: CSP or CIH certification.
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States is required. Verification of employment eligibility will be mandatory at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
