Position: Director of Medical/Surgical and ICU Units
Our prestigious client, a renowned healthcare provider with numerous accolades, is seeking an experienced Director for their Medical/Surgical and ICU Units. This exciting opportunity involves overseeing operations at multiple facilities in Riverton and Lander, Wyoming.
Job Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the Medical/Surgical and ICU Units, ensuring optimal patient care.
- Provide clinical practice leadership for patient services departments.
- Coordinate patient service delivery and educate staff for continuous development.
- Manage budgets, plan and direct operations, and maintain clinical competencies.
- Act as a resource for various hospital divisions, promoting interdisciplinary collaboration.
- Collaborate with C-suite executives and department directors for seamless operations.
- Demonstrate critical thinking skills for effective problem-solving.
Educational Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in nursing or equivalent.
- Master’s Degree in a related discipline (preferred).
Work Experience:
- Five (5) years of progressive leadership and managerial experience (required).
- Two (2) years of director-level experience at a reputable healthcare institution.
- Expertise with survey processes in an acute care setting (Joint Commission).
- Prior operational and supervisory experience within a complex medical center (preferred).
- Proven track record as a collaborative leader.
License/Certification:
- Registered Nurse License for Wyoming (either single state or multistate).
