Job Description:

Our client, a renowned healthcare organization, is in search of a Director of Clinical Operations to join their team. This leadership role involves overseeing patient service departments, including Medical/Surgical and Intensive Care Units. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, organizing, and directing operations and staff across multiple campuses.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide visionary leadership for operating patient service departments.
  • Direct clinical practice, coordinate patient service delivery, and manage the work environment.
  • Serve as a valuable resource for interdisciplinary divisions within the health care organization.
  • Develop and maintain clinical competencies through continuous education initiatives.
  • Motivate and lead teams to achieve financial and operational objectives.
  • Demonstrate effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Utilize critical thinking skills for effective problem-solving.

Educational & Experience Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in nursing or equivalent.
  • Master’s Degree in a related discipline (preferred).
  • Five (5) years of progressive leadership and managerial experience (required).
  • Two (2) years of director-level experience in a similar setting.
  • Expertise with survey processes in a healthcare setting (Joint Commission).
  • Prior operational and supervisory experience within a complex medical center (preferred).
  • Proven collaboration with multiple department directors and C-suite executives.

Nice-To-Haves:

  • Master’s degree in a related discipline.
