Job Description:
Our client, a renowned healthcare organization, is in search of a Director of Clinical Operations to join their team. This leadership role involves overseeing patient service departments, including Medical/Surgical and Intensive Care Units. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, organizing, and directing operations and staff across multiple campuses.
Responsibilities:
- Provide visionary leadership for operating patient service departments.
- Direct clinical practice, coordinate patient service delivery, and manage the work environment.
- Serve as a valuable resource for interdisciplinary divisions within the health care organization.
- Develop and maintain clinical competencies through continuous education initiatives.
- Motivate and lead teams to achieve financial and operational objectives.
- Demonstrate effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Utilize critical thinking skills for effective problem-solving.
Educational & Experience Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in nursing or equivalent.
- Master’s Degree in a related discipline (preferred).
- Five (5) years of progressive leadership and managerial experience (required).
- Two (2) years of director-level experience in a similar setting.
- Expertise with survey processes in a healthcare setting (Joint Commission).
- Prior operational and supervisory experience within a complex medical center (preferred).
- Proven collaboration with multiple department directors and C-suite executives.
Nice-To-Haves:
- Master’s degree in a related discipline.
