  • Spearhead the implementation of training and educational programs tailored for ESRD (End-Stage Renal Disease) patients.
  • Coordinate home training and ensure regular follow-up of patients on both a monthly and as-needed basis.
  • Oversee the review and evaluation of patient care, aligning with ESRD Network, regulatory agencies, DCI’s CQI program, and individual clinic requirements.
  • Develop and implement standards of care, ensuring patient care compliance with ESRD Network, regulatory agencies, DCI’s CQI program, and the specific clinic’s requirements.
  • Collaborate with the Education Coordinator to plan and execute training and assessments for patient care staff.
  • Coordinate the implementation of DCI, CQI, and Risk Management Programs with the Quality and Risk Manager.
  • Actively promote and facilitate open communication among staff, administration, physicians, and patients.
  • Collaborate with the Medical Director, Social Worker, Dietitian, Charge Nurses, Technical Managers, Staff Nurses, and Technicians to address specific patient care issues, including modality selection.
  • Integrate unit activities with Clinic Operations Director and Medical Director concerning patient care, staff education, research projects, and unit expansions.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Medical Director to supervise Nursing, Social Work, Dietitian, and Technical staff.
  • Fulfill supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the clinic’s policies, procedures, and applicable laws.
  • Conduct interviews, hire and train employees, schedule staff, appraise performance, all in coordination with the Area Operations Director.
