Summary: Reporting to the Director of Imaging Services or designee, the Imaging Technologist role involves providing radiological care to patients of all ages for the diagnosis and treatment of anatomical and physiologic disorders using ionizing radiation. The position requires a working knowledge of conventional Radiology, proficiency in operating all X-ray equipment and PACS, and responsibility for preparing exam rooms, equipment, supplies, and medications for patient procedures. The technologist is also responsible for patient education. Proven competency in conventional radiography is essential, with additional working knowledge in at least one other area, such as CT, MRI, or Interventional Radiology if applicable competencies are met. The position may involve being on call.


  • BLS (Basic Life Support)
  • ARRT( R ) (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists – Radiography)
  • CRT (California Radiologic Technologist)
  • Fluoroscopy permit required
