Job Title: Clinical Pharmacist – Pediatrics Intensive Care Unit

  • Develop, implement, and monitor clinical pharmacy programs to enhance patient care and focus on cost reduction.
  • Provide clinical services to patients and professional staff in an inpatient hospital pharmacy environment.
  • Interact with medical staff on drug utilization and cost containment strategies.
  • Supervise department employees as needed in consultation with the department Director and/or Pharmacy Manager.
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize patient outcomes.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of pharmacy and hospital processes.
  • Foster teamwork, build effective relationships, and lead/facilitate workgroups.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Doctorate of Pharmacy degree; Completion of ASHP accredited pharmacy practice residency or fellowship or equivalent experience.
  • Licensure in the State of [State Name].
  • Pharmacy Sterile Product certification through an in-house or accredited program if appropriate.

Experience / Knowledge / Skills:

  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Proficiency in pharmacy and hospital computer systems and computer-assisted devices.
