Award-Winning Client is currently seeking a highly motivated professional for the position of Area Supply Chain Project Manager. This is a full-time onsite role with paid relocation.

Job Summary: As an Area Supply Chain Project Manager (ASCPM), you will play a pivotal role in strategic supplier management, focusing on performance, cost, and compliance goals. Collaborate with Strategic Sourcing Managers and Area Supply Chain leaders to qualify new suppliers, negotiate pricing, and oversee supplier performance. Provide internal customer support and contribute to special projects enhancing department efficiency.


  • Develop sourcing strategies or assist Strategic Sourcing for assigned spend categories.
  • Communicate, monitor, and manage business unit compliance with the strategy.
  • Cultivate and maintain supplier and internal customer relationships.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to implement effective procurement strategies, leveraging volume and spend.
  • Cooperate with Corporate Strategic Sourcing Manager(s) and provide market area input as needed.
  • Facilitate area RFPs and proactively seek opportunities to reduce bottom-line costs at the area level.
  • Monitor and report local supplier performance. Develop formal and informal review procedures, ensuring prompt resolution of supplier performance issues.
  • Measure, track, and report supply chain performance within each spend category.
  • Conduct quarterly reporting to Area Supply Chain Manager.
  • Support Supplier Development and Continuous Improvement in the region.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams for year-over-year improvements in total cost of ownership, value-added services, and contract compliance.
  • Maintain expertise in assigned spend categories through relationships with other ASCPMs, business units, suppliers, market experts, and enterprise/regional liaisons.
  • Apply value chain and value stream concepts.


  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, or similar field. In lieu of a degree, High School Diploma or GED and four (4) years of relevant work experience.
  • Experience: Five (5) years of relevant work experience in procurement/supply chain or related field.
  • Certifications: CASCPM desirable.
  • Skills: Strategic Sourcing, Indirect Supply Chain, Analytical Data, Purchasing, Supply Chain, Project Management, Contracts, Data Manipulation, Negotiating.
  • Proficiency: Medium to Advanced mastery of MS Office Suite.
  • Other: Financial analysis, project management, and purchasing experience required.

Work Environment:

  • Motor coordination with finger dexterity (keyboard operation) required most of the workday.
  • Physical effort in handling objects less than 30 pounds is rare.
  • Exposure to physical occupational risks and elements is rare.
  • Normal setting: office environment.
